On the ground level of the former building that previously existed before the blue beast was built in the middle of this shot, I owned my first business. It was a pizza delivery shop called Joey’s Original Pizza Pies. I owned it with a partner and it was seriously one of the best times of my life. Tonight, I was reminded of the venture while talking with a current downtown business owner, Josh Martinez. Here’s to downtown Houston and all those that have come before us and those that will come after. Cheers. #fyha #houston #downtown
